Update 26/11/2024 | Donkey Kong Country officially opens on December 11 2024!
A jungle area has been created where visitors can explore real-life Donkey Kong locations including The Golden Temple, in which the new Mine Cart Madness coaster can be found.
Universal Studios Japan is about to level up with a Donkey Kong-themed section added to the hugely successful Super Mario Land contained within the park.
Increasing the area by 70%, the extension is planned in Spring 2024, and has been confirmed by Universal Studios to be jungle-themed with a large range of tropical plants and trees.
Guests will be able to continue interacting with their new surroundings with the Super Nintendo Power-Up Band, accumulating points, and gain access to a brand new ride named ‘Mine-Cart Madness’. Check out the teaser below!
